Integrations

Integrations

Integrations connect Amaspace to your website so customers can use your 3D configurators, and you can track analytics and orders.

What are Integrations?

An integration is the connection between Amaspace and your website. It allows you to:

  • Display 3D configurators on your site
  • Collect analytics (views, interactions, configurations)
  • Store and manage customer orders
  • Synchronize configured products with your store

Each website needs one integration, but one integration can serve multiple configurators.

Available Integration Types

Shopify

Native app integration for Shopify stores. Install the app, connect your Amaspace account, and add configurators to product pages or any page in your theme.

Best for: Shopify merchants who want a quick, no-code setup.

WooCommerce

Plugin integration for WordPress/WooCommerce stores. Connect your Amaspace account and embed configurators on product pages.

Best for: WooCommerce stores looking for seamless integration.

Webhooks

Send configuration data to your backend or external systems when customers complete a configuration.

Best for: Custom workflows, inventory systems, or order processing automation.

Custom Embed

Embed configurators on any website using a script tag or iframe. Works with any platform (Wix, Webflow, custom sites, etc.).

Best for: Non-Shopify/WooCommerce sites or advanced custom implementations.

How Integration Works

  1. Create an integration — Register your website URL and select the platform
  2. Get your API key — Amaspace generates a Secret API Key for authentication
  3. Connect products — Link Amaspace configurators to your website products
  4. Embed on your site — Use platform plugins or custom embed code
  5. Go live — Customers can now configure products, and you’ll see analytics

Key Concepts

One Integration Per Website

Each website (domain) requires one integration. You cannot have multiple integrations for the same URL.

Multiple Products Per Integration

One integration can serve as many configurators as you need. Add different products to the same integration.

Product ID Linking

To track orders correctly, link each configurator to a product ID from your website (Shopify product ID, WooCommerce product ID, etc.).

Secret API Key

Your Secret API Key authenticates the connection between your site and Amaspace. Keep it secure and regenerate it if exposed.

Quick Start

  1. Go to Integrations in your Amaspace dashboard
  2. Click Add new site
  3. Enter your website URL and select your platform
  4. Follow the platform-specific guide below

Choose Your Platform

  • Shopify — Install the Amaspace app from the Shopify App Store
  • WooCommerce — Install the Amaspace plugin from WordPress
  • Webhooks — Set up webhook endpoints for custom logic
  • Custom Site — Use embed code for Wix, Webflow, or custom websites
  • Managing Integrations — Edit, remove, or reset API keys for existing integrations

Best Practices

  • Use one integration per domain — Don’t create multiple integrations for subdomains of the same site
  • Link product IDs correctly — This ensures orders sync properly
  • Keep API keys secure — Don’t share them publicly or commit them to version control
  • Test before going live — Preview configurators in a staging environment first

Common Issues

Issue: Configurator doesn’t appear on my site

  • Check that you’ve added the app block/embed code to the correct page
  • Verify your API key is entered correctly
  • Ensure the integration is active in your Amaspace dashboard

Issue: Orders aren’t syncing

  • Confirm the product ID is linked correctly in Amaspace
  • Check that the integration is connected to the right website URL

Issue: Multiple products created in Shopify

  • You might be using “Page Customizer” instead of “Product Customizer” — see the Shopify guide for details
