Getting started
Do I need a developer to use Amaspace?
Not always. You can publish a working configurator without code.You may need a developer if you want a custom embed, advanced styling, or webhooks.
Do I need 3D models before I start?
Yes. Amaspace requires a 3D model (GLB/GLTF recommended).If you don’t have models yet, start with Asset Requirements and prepare your files first.
Can I build a configurator with multiple options (colors, parts, packages)?
Yes. You create options (attributes/PCOs) and link them to real changes in the 3D model—materials, visibility toggles, or swapped parts.
Assets & performance
Why does my model load slowly?
Slow loads are usually caused by:
- Large textures (high resolution, uncompressed)
- Heavy geometry (too many polygons)
- Too many materials or draw calls
Start with Asset Requirements and optimize the model and textures before publishing.
Why do materials look different from my 3D software?
Web rendering can differ from Blender/3ds Max due to:
- Lighting/environment differences
- Color space / texture settings
- Material defaults not matching
Fix this by standardizing materials and checking your scene lighting in the 3D Editor.
Product configuration
My option exists but doesn’t change anything. Why?
Options need to be linked to the model. Check that the option is connected to:
- A material change on the right mesh, or
- Visibility toggle, or
- Part swap asset
If it still doesn’t work, confirm mesh naming and hierarchy in the uploaded model.
Why do swapped parts overlap or look duplicated?
This usually happens when the “base” part is still visible.Hide the base mesh and allow the option to control what becomes visible.
Publishing & integrations
What’s the difference between Preview and Publish?
- Preview is for testing internally.
- Publish makes the product ready for real users and integrations.
Can I embed the configurator on any website?
Yes. You can use a custom embed on any site.Shopify/WooCommerce integrations provide a more guided setup.
Can I send configuration data to my backend or CRM?
Yes, using webhooks (or API/SDK depending on your plan).

Where do I update my profile and company settings?
Go to Profile and update personal info, company data, and security settings.
Where do I manage my subscription?
Go to Profile → Subscription to view plans and billing details.
